MEDS HANDBOOK provides quick offline access to the West Valley accepted advanced life support treatment protocols and guidelines. The Advanced Life Support Treatment Protocols were developed by the Medical Directors for ALS providers to facilitate a standardized approach to commonly encountered patient problems, thus ensuring consistent, quality patient care. They are based on national standards and the collective expertise of the local, regional, and state medical direction authorities. These protocols comply with the scope of practice for ALS providers as established by the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of EMS. Additionally, as time goes on and new changes are implemented, MEDS HANDBOOK offers flash-card type study references and quizzes to help you stay sharp and mentally prepared for any medical incident. Whether you are a veteran paramedic, just have a few years under your belt, or in the process of earning your paramedic certification, MEDS HANDBOOK is for you.
This app is simply to be followed as a reference material and not as a replacement to a trained medical practitioner.
